Tanzeem ul Madaris Ahl-e-Sunnat Pakistan is one of the largest Islamic educational boards in Pakistan. Established in 1960, it supervises more than 15,000 Sunni (Barelvi) madaris nationwide. The board manages the Dars-e-Nizami curriculum, conducts annual examinations, oversees admissions, issues certificates, and maintains educational standards for affiliated institutions.

Students can download the official admission form for boys or girls, print it on at least 80 GSM paper, complete all required fields, and attach the required documents. Private (individual) candidates cannot submit admission forms directly. All admission forms must be submitted through an affiliated madrasa or institution in accordance with the official Tanzeem ul Madaris admission procedure.

Applicants must submit all required documents along with the admission form, including:

➊ Recent passport-size photographs (boys must attach two photographs with glue).
➋ Student’s B-Form or CNIC copy.
➌ Father’s CNIC copy.
➍ Latest educational certificate, result card, or mark sheet.
➎ Boys must provide the left-hand thumb impression.
➏ Girls must sign the form and provide the right-hand thumb impression.
➐ All information must exactly match the original identity documents.

The minimum age requirements are:
Mutawassitah: At least 12 years old by 30 April 2027.
Aama Awwal (Boys): At least 13 years old by 30 April 2027.
Aama Awwal (Girls): At least 13 years old by 17 May 2027.
The age will be verified according to the applicant’s CNIC or B-Form.

The admission fee for boys depends on the class and the date the admission form is submitted. The official fee schedule is as follows:

Private candidates cannot submit admission forms individually. Institutions must submit applications through their official letterhead along with the required documents and fee receipt. Online admission, fee challans, and roll number slip printing facilities are available through the official portal using the authorized secret code. Incomplete admission forms will be returned, and resubmission requires an additional processing fee.

A candidate who fails in two or fewer papers is considered Majaz Zimni (Supplementary Eligible) and may appear in supplementary examinations. Candidates failing in three or more papers must reappear in the complete examination.

Candidates may also appear in improvement examinations to improve their division according to board regulations.

Tanzeem ul Madaris conducts two annual Hifz-ul-Quran examinations each year. The official examination schedule is as follows:

Candidates should submit their admission forms within the prescribed dates to be eligible for the respective Hifz-ul-Quran examination.

10. Can admission be cancelled, and what online facilities are available?
Yes. Tanzeem ul Madaris allows candidates to cancel their admission by submitting a written application with a valid reason at least 45 days before the examination.

Yes. Female students who have passed Matric from a government board may apply for Aama Part 2 and Khasa Awwal by submitting an attested result card.

Yes. Institutions may submit the details of qualified male or female teachers who can perform duties as supervisors, assistants, or paper checkers during examinations.

Yes. Institutions must select one examination center for all their candidates from the officially approved examination centers.

Only candidates who have passed the entrance test can submit admission for Takhassus fil Fiqh. The entrance test is held twice a year, at the end of Dhul-Qadah and in Safar al-Muzaffar. The Takhassus examination is only for male students. There is no Takhassus examination for women, nor is there a research thesis in Aalmiyah for women.

No. Individual admission forms from private candidates are not accepted. Forms must be submitted through the concerned institution following the official procedure.

Private or individual candidates are not accepted. The institution should write the required number of candidates on its official letterhead and send the forms to the Examination Department by post or WhatsApp at 03331145326 (male students) and 03331145327 (female students). All candidates’ forms should be collected and sent in one parcel, while the fee should be submitted with one receipt. The candidate list and fee proforma must also be completed and submitted with the admission forms. The institution should also ensure that the candidates read and sign the instruction sheet, make a photocopy, and attach it at the appropriate place.

Incomplete forms will be returned with objections and can only be resubmitted within the prescribed schedule with an additional Rs. 200 per candidate as postage charges. Candidates who are Supply or have failed and wish to apply for rechecking should also send the annual examination admission form. If they pass through rechecking, their admission fee will be refunded; otherwise, their admission will not be accepted after the admission deadline. Admissions will only be accepted when the institution has no outstanding annual fee, and a photocopy of the annual fee payment receipt must be attached. The institution must select one examination centre for all its candidates from the centres listed with the schedule. If the number of candidates is low, the Examination Department may place them at a nearby examination centre. Admission is also subject to payment of the institution’s three-year affiliation fee.

Tanzeem-ul-Madaris website provides facilities for online admission, fee challan, and printing roll number slips/admit cards. A secret code is required for online registration and can be obtained from the Central Office. Online registration should be preferred because it may become mandatory in the future. If admission needs to be cancelled for a reasonable reason, a written request must be submitted 45 days before the examinations.

In an examination consisting of 6 papers, a candidate who fails in 2 or fewer papers is considered Zimni (Supplementary). A candidate who fails in 3 or more papers must appear in the complete examination again. A Zimni candidate is given 2 opportunities: the immediate supplementary examination and the next annual examination.

A first-year (Part I) Zimni candidate of any grade can take the supplementary paper of the first year along with the second-year examination, but the total number of papers must not exceed 8. However, a second-year (Part II) Zimni candidate cannot appear in the first year of the next grade. There is also no facility to appear for first-year (Kamil) and second-year (Kamil) examinations together in one examination. Furthermore, a candidate who is Zimni in first-year Tajweed Mutawassitah must first pass the Mutawassitah Tajweed examination before becoming eligible for Aama Oola.

The Aama and Khasa examinations must be passed within 2 years, the Aaliya examination within 3 years, and the Aalmiyah examination within 5 years; otherwise, the first year will become invalid. If a candidate passes the second year but remains Zimni in the first year, two additional opportunities are available. However, a new candidate cannot participate in the second year during the immediate supplementary examination of the first year. After appearing in Aalmiyah, if a candidate remains Zimni in the research thesis, they are given three additional chances, including the immediate supplementary and annual supplementary opportunities.

A candidate cannot appear in two examinations in the same year, such as Tajweed and Dars-e-Nizami. The Hifz examination is exempted from this rule. A candidate in any grade from Aama to Aalmiyah First Year who is Zimni may take the supplementary paper along with the second year, provided the total number of papers does not exceed 8. In Aaliya, the research thesis is only for male students. For Mutawassitah/Tajweed, a Zimni candidate must first pass the Mutawassitah Tajweed examination before becoming eligible for Aama Oola.

Candidates who have already obtained a certificate may appear for a complete or partial examination to improve their division. They are given 2 opportunities for improvement. Female students who have passed Matric from a government board may appear in Aama Second Year and Khasa First Year, provided that an attested result card is submitted. If an institution has a male teacher or female teacher who can perform duties as an invigilator, assistant, or answer-script checker, their complete details should be submitted along with the relevant forms.

Any person who holds a Tanzeem-ul-Madaris certificate can appear again to improve their division by up to two divisions. The candidate is given 2 opportunities for Grade Improvement and may appear in either the complete or partial examination to improve the division.

When submitting the admission form for Grade Improvement/Improvement Examination, the institution must provide verification and clarification on its official letterhead. The candidate’s original result card and certificate of the relevant grade must also be submitted along with the admission form.

No. A male or female student cannot appear for the Grade Improvement examination of a previous grade after participating in the next grade.

Yes. Female students who have passed Matric from a government board may enter Aama Second Year and Khasa First Year on the basis of their Matric qualification. However, if a student has appeared in Aama Second Year, passing Aama Second Year is compulsory. Without passing Aama Second Year, she will not be eligible for admission to Khasa First Year.

Female students applying on the basis of government-board Matric must attach an attested copy of their Matric Pass Result Card with the admission form.

If an admission needs to be cancelled due to disciplinary violations or other reasonable reasons, a written request from the Head of the Institution must reach the Controller of Examinations at least 45 days before the commencement of the examinations. Otherwise, the concerned authority is not authorized to withhold the candidate’s roll number slip/admit card.

If the annual affiliation fee is unpaid or outstanding, the candidate’s roll number slip/admit card and result card will be withheld. Institutions should therefore pay the affiliation fee on time every year to avoid any difficulty later.

Yes. If a male teacher or female teacher is qualified and willing to perform examination duties such as Nazim/Nazimah, assistant, examination-centre duties, or examiner/inspector for checking answer scripts, the institution should submit their name and details through the prescribed annual application form so that their services may be utilized when required.

Tanzeem-ul-Madaris website provides facilities for online admission registration and downloading the online fee challan form. An online account facility has also been provided. Institutions should prefer online registration and admission, as online admission will become mandatory in the near future.

To print roll number slips/admit cards, institutions should access the relevant “Tanzeem-ul-Madaris” link on the website. A Secret Code is required to use this facility. The Secret Code can be obtained from the Central Office, Affiliation Department, through a written request from the Head of the Institution on official letterhead, using the institution’s registered number.
